Ali made it to ABQ!

Ali asked me to tell everyone she and Ricardo made it to Albuquerque. Rico's trip was eventless. No problems with immigration. Ali, instead, arrived in Houston to find her luggage never left Paris. How she will solve this one remains to be seen in today's terrorism-driven luggage handling.

Right now Ali is camping with her Dad and family. No internet. No instrusions. I hope it is a stress-buster for her and that little hands work while she is gone to bring her luggage back. Ali deserves nothing less.

Continue to write everyone! I love reading what you have to say.

Hooray! Am so glad Ali and Ricardo are safe and sound in Albuquerque. Tell her to have some green chiles for me, please! And take lots of photos, especially of Santa Fe. Thanks so much! xo Tara

thanks Katherine,

travelling the globe seems to have become more adventurous an undertaking than it used to be, it seems... travelling around the "civilised" world has almost become an undertaking worthy of banana republic appeal...

keep well all...

Yay! She made it!
I am sad to hear about the luggage situation. Maybe a few new clothing items will have to be purchased if possible... I am excited and glad she's back, if even for a short time. Thanks Katherine for updating us! Ali, have a great time.

It's so cool to hear from the woman that sprung such a wonderful Ali. Kudos, Mom!

Glad to hear everything went well (except for the luggage - that stinks).

Hi everyone!

Just a quick note to say that I'm back from camping and my luggage did finally arrive. Not before I weaseled a clothing voucher out of Continental / Air France for my troubles.

Santa Fe was beautiful, we spent the day there yesterday. Camping was relaxing, we hiked through a field full of aspens and ate green chile stew around the campfire.

I shall write a proper entry tomorrow. We just got back to my dad's house and I am exhausted.

love to you all!
Ali

Thanks for the news, Katherine. A couple of days camping and relaxing were indeed needed. As for the baggage, well, wish her the quickest possible solution!

It's always like that when you do a correspondance in / by Paris! My luggage is always delayed.

Hope you'll spend good days out there!

LOTS OF LOVE :)
