Good Vibrations

Sunbeams after an afternoon rainshower in Chobe National Park, Botswana

Please send positive energy and good thoughts to Ricardo this afternoon.

He has an interview at the American Consulate in Rio de Janeiro to determine whether or not he will be granted a tourist visa for our trip next month.

The interview will take place at 1pm his time (GMT -3) and 6pm my time (GMT +2), so do your math and send love and light our way!

Good Afternoon Miss Ali - B.G. just came into my classroom beaming, and so excited that he'd talked to you. (He also told me that you responded to the comments I sent - and how to find the response.)
So first let me apologize for not harassing him to install Stype, but he was obviously on top of it.
Thank you for your postings and your honesty. I'm a praying woman Miss Ali and you've given me the opportunity to pray for you - and Rico.
But Atta' Girl once again, for dealing with these things at 24 - you could wait until your 40. Believe me, age doesn't made it any easier. I wish some of these things should have a statue of limitations on them.
Thank you for sharing the kitties vacation plans. They'll be spending time with old friends and catching up with "cousins" and "reunioning with family". What could be better? And the tales they'll have to tell?
So, we're in August now, and the chile crop is the best we've had in 10 years. In a couple of weeks the vendors will be set up in front of Smiths and Raleys - and the smell of chile being roasted will stop you in your tracks. Welcome home. You'll be here just in time.

Thanks, everyone. Keep those good thoughts coming!!! Lord knows we need them with the kind of system we are up against.

~Kim - Thank you for your prayers (for the visa and in general). The green chiles sound delicious. I can't wait to eat as much as possible when I'm home next month. Yum!
