Hello Ali from Barcelona. I hope I am nor intruding. I saw your blog while trying to find info about Mzbq on the internet. My partner and I want to travel to Mozambique this summer, but would like to avoid tours and go free style. There are guides of Mozambique and information on the internet, however tips from a local would be great. How easy it is to get around, how good are the beaches, how safe is it, how cheap..etc. Thanks very much

~MoziEsmè - It was our first time in Tofo, and only the third beach I've visited in Moz. We definitely want to do more tourism-travel before heading out.

~Monkey - Thanks, girl. I think you mentioned previously that your dad's colleauge was raised in Mozambique. Many people relocated in the mid-1970's due to the war.

Let me know how the various jeans work out.

~Maria-Olivia - Hi, good to meet you. Mozambique is a very large country, so it's hard to give tips if I don't know where you plan to travel. One thing for sure is that Maputo city is like a completely different country from the rest of the provinces, and is by far the most expensive place in Moz.

You can send me an email with more details, and I'll give you my opinion. (my email link is just above my profile)
