Thankfully, Maputo was not the next port of call for the ship carrying arms from China bound for Zimbabwe. The latest news we've heard is that it is heading for Luanda, Angola. I sincerely hope that the reaction to the ship's cargo is similar in that country, and that port workers refuse to unload the weaponry, and that government officials do the right thing on a higher level and recognize that 77 tons of arms arriving in Harare right now would exponentially facilitate the human rights absuses against the Zimbabwean people by ZANU-PF.
